What is GEIS?

Global Education and Innovation Summit

At the 2023 Global Education Innovation Summit (GEIS), more than 200 global education leaders, including scholars, ministers, vice ministers, education policymakers and experts, and international organizations officials will gather to share their experiences and examples of changes in teaching and learning methods.

Strengthen Korea's position as a global education first mover by establishing a global educational innovation hub suitable for the era of digital transformation in Korea

Sharing Trends in Educational Innovation

To seek educational cooperation at home and abroad and in public-private-school education in order to preemptively respond to the rapidly changing society by providing a venue to share digital-based educational innovation trends

Establishing an Innovation Reform Strategy

In the era of 'Artificial Intelligence-based classes' through the spread of personalized learning tailored to students, sharing experiences in various teaching and learning methods and establish better innovative reform strategies

Creating an Educational Innovation Ecosystem

Expecting that all innovative entities will create an educational innovation ecosystem by maintaining mutual cooperation or sound competition based on the ideas and resources of education-related actants

Hi, everyone. Welcome to GEIS 2023.


In the era of digital transformation, a significant first step of the Global Education and Innovation Summit is taken towards overcoming the challenges we face through educational innovation.


The Global Education and Innovation Summit will be held under the theme 'Creating an Ecosystem for Educational Innovation in the Digital Era'. It will bring together international dignitaries, scholars, representatives from international organizations, education experts, and business leaders to explore the future direction of education in the digital transformation era and seek solutions for digital-based educational innovation.


We welcome everyone who attended the 2023 Global Education Innovation Summit, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea to build an education innovation hub and to further advance global education innovation.
